At OUTlandish Videos & Gifts,celebrating PRIDE and diversity is our business 365 days a year (give or take a holiday or two!). Occasionally we get the opportunity to celebrate it in a bigger, more fabulous way (not that we aren't fabulous EVERYDAY!). This year we were proud to continue our participation in Rochester's annual PRIDE events.

Kicking off the festivities on Saturday July 8th was the annual Gay PRIDE Parade (Streets Of PRIDE!), followed by the Cultural Festival organized by the Community Business Forum of Rochester. And because the festival was being held at the Village Gate, the community got to experience a double dose of OUTlandish, at our main store and our tent out in the middle of the festivities!

Sunday July 9th found us taking the store on the road and visiting the annual Gay Picnic held by the Gay Alliance of the Genesee Valley at the Genesee Valley Park.

A special treat for our customers (and for those of us who work at the store!) was a visit from our friend Traviss from FACTORY VIDEO, who took the time to mingle and sign DVDs at our store and joined us for both outdoor events!

One of the best things about our local PRIDE events is taking the time to celebrate our diverse community with family and friends. OUTlandish is fortunate to have one of the best family of friends under one roof (or under tents, as many of us were all weekend!)
